Island Pride Sardine Balls


2 cans Island Pride Sardines in oil, drained
1 tbsp Island Pride Soybean Oil
8 tbsp breadcrumbs (can be substituted with dry crackers)
1 egg
1 tbsp of lime juice
2 tbsp onion, chopped
1 tbsp green seasoning
1 tsp all purpose seasoning

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350℉ (175℃)

Step 2

Clean and debone sardines, removing all skin. This can be a little tricky but you can’t rush greatness!

Step 3

Add lime juice.

Step 4

Heat oil in a saucepan and briefly pan fry sardines.

Step 5

Mix egg, green seasoning, all purpose seasoning, onions and breadcrumbs together until well combined.

Step 6

Then, add in Island Pride Sardines.
